About the Role

Description

The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, mentoring, and increasing the efficiency of the installation team.


Starting salary range is $65,000 to $80,000/year depending on experience.

Anticipated start date of this position is March 30, 2026.

Requirements


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to improve efficiencies for the installation team, working in cooperation with the other field supervisors
  • Mentor and monitor progress and growth development of the field technicians
  • Subject matter expert (SME) with residential and commercial audio/video products including but not limited to automation systems, lighting control systems, security systems, networks, access control systems, and other low voltage products
  • Perform random spot check of installations, travel to field technician job site to observe and verify the technician is capable of performing work assigned to company standards
  • Act as the first level of support to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues
  • Develop and help enforce a training program, working in collaboration with the leadership team to identify training topics and subsequent implementation of training for field technicians
  • Responsible for hands on assistance in the field as required by working with the technicians on a multitude of projects and scope of work that requires such assistance
  • Work closely with scheduling teams to help resolve conflicts and to ensure that the correct resources are allotted to any given project
  • Enforce compliance of company policies regarding vehicle maintenance, accident reporting, etc.
  • Handle after hours emergency service calls (as assigned on a rotation basis)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years field experience, preferably in residential or commercial audio/video installation
  • Strong personal management skills, dedication and organization required
  • Ability to focus on relevant issues and present information effectively either verbally or in writing
  • Ability to multi-task, complete assignments, and present work in a professional manner
  • Must be able to clear a background check and drug screening
  • Clear MVR required
  • Technical or Vocational related schooling is preferred


Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, talk, and hear.
  • Frequent use of step ladders and extension ladders
  • Frequent amount of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds


Work Environment:

  • Active construction sites
  • Exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust.
  • Moderate noise
  • Frequent local and occasional out of state travel required
