Utilizing state-of the-art diagnostic, measurement, weld repair, and machining equipment, we provide comprehensive valve repair regardless of valve type, pressure class, or manufacturer. We are National Board certified for repair of safety and relief valves, regardless of manufacturer, media, or pressure class. We offer secure on-line records of survey, testing and repair available through our website. We feature a Mobile Valve Shop repair trailers, on-site rebuilding, and AccuTEST® electronic pressure relief valve testing system. We offer OEM assembly available for Anderson Greenwood, and Crosby valves. Emerson LifeCycle certified control valve diagnostic evaluation, repair, and calibration.   • Starting pay: $23-32 per hour. Additional compensation will be paid for any travel and fieldwork.

Repair Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the repair, testing, calibration and troubleshooting of industrial valves. Training will be provided.
  • Verify measurements, calculate dimensions and verify tolerances.
  • Complete valve repair and service reports.
  • Rigging and hoisting valve and actuator components in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Travel, including overnights, as required throughout service territory via company vehicle.
  • Other duties as required.

*The final offer will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to the candidates depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in the position.

Requirements

Repair Technician Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver's license and ability to be insured on company insurance
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including passing a DOT physical
  • Must have legible writing, math and measurement skills
