About the Role

Description

The Area Field Manager's primary objective is to ensure that Onsite Safety (OSI) is the most trusted provider of safety solutions in their market. They provide quality safety services to our customers by managing their team, market processes, and company assets. Area Field Managers demonstrate Onsite Safety’s mission, vision, and core values at every level of work performance.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions

  • Track, order, and maintain consumables and equipment necessary to complete the team’s workload.
  • Coordinate scheduling and dispatching to meet project demands for labor and equipment.
  • Assign and monitor daily tasks; supervise the team to ensure work is completed in accordance with job site, OSI, and OSHA requirements for safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Ensure all required processes are completed in alignment with OSI and OSHA standards (e.g., equipment maintenance/inspections, fleet, warehouse, tools, PPE).
  • Conduct team member counseling, disciplinary action, and recruiting.
  • Train service technicians and new hires.
  • Coordinate quality control in alignment with company and OSHA training and operational standards.
  • Submit a monthly report to the Regional Operations Manager regarding key metrics, team performance, and future goals.
  • Complete routes assigned.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers on the basis of providing quality services, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Support the Sales Department by continuously seeking new sales opportunities and reporting potential threats and losses.
  • Other duties as assigned



Work Environment and Time Requirements

This position requires travel by vehicle. The Area Field Manager must be able to:

  • Work in all seasons and weather conditions;
  • Work at various heights;
  • Carry a minimum of 55 lbs.
  • Operate power tools and equipment; and
  • Meet all OSHA and OSI’s safety requirements that are fundamental to completing job duties.



Preferred Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10 or 30
  • 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Proficient in document and sheet software.
  • Skilled at using mobile devices and GPS.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
