The Opportunity
We are seeking a professional and reliable Front Desk Operator to join our team in Los Angeles. This role is critical in creating a welcoming environment for clients and ensuring smooth daily office operations. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in supporting both our Immigration and Criminal Defense departments. Work Setup
• Onsite role based in Los Angeles, CA (90010)
• Full-time position
• 40 hours per week
• Schedule includes weekdays and one weekend day as assigned
What You’ll Do
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, providing a professional and welcoming experience
• Greet clients, direct them to appropriate areas, and notify staff of their arrival
• Assist clients with document collection, uploads, and case file organization
• Digitize and enter case information into case management systems accurately and confidentially
• Provide translation assistance during client meetings when needed
• Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and client materials for pickup or mailing
• Assemble and mail FOIA, USCIS, and EOIR packets in compliance with deadlines
• Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents
• Monitor and maintain reception area cleanliness and professionalism
• Assist with office operations including supply management, office setup, and administrative support
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Compensation, Benefits & Equal Employment Opportunity
Moaddel Law Firm offers a competitive hourly pay range of $21.00 to $26.00 per hour, with eligibility for overtime. We offer medical insurance with a 50 percent employer contribution, dental and vision insurance, holidays, PTO, and a retirement plan. Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or similar role
• Experience working in a law firm or professional office environment preferred
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Tech savvy and comfortable using Google Workspace and case management software
• Professional, reliable, and proactive demeanor
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
