About the Role

Job Description

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on distribution network components including transformers, switchgear, RMUs, circuit breakers, cables, and meters.
Monitor and maintain 22Kv substations and LV distribution systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply and system reliability.
Quick respond to faults and outages, troubleshooting issues, and coordinate restoration activities with field teams.
Maintain and update records of maintenance activities, PPM reports load data, and asset conditions using maintenance logs.
Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, expansions, and improvement projects.
Conduct safety checks, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and local regulations.
Coordinate with control room operators, utility personnel, and third-party contractors during emergency or planned outages.
Support implementation of smart grid technologies, remote monitoring systems, and other digital tools for better O&M performance.
Prepare technical reports, incident analyses, and recommendations for system improvement.
Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, Familiarity with SCADA, GIS, and Energy Management Systems (EMS), Understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, or local codes)

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
