About the Role
<p><strong>Business Development Executive (Progression To Event Sales Manager)</strong></p><p>Location: Bristol (Office-Based)<br>Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 5:30pm<br>Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 basic, plus uncapped commission<br>Realistic OTE: £50,000 +<br>Progression: Pathway to Event Manager</p><p><strong>About the Company</strong></p><p>Business Show Media delivers large-scale global business exhibitions that connect thousands of entrepreneurs and senior decision-makers each year.</p><p>We are known for developing Business Development professionals into Event Managers and senior commercial leaders.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We are hiring a Business Development Manager (BDM) focused on the UK market.</p><p>This role is heavily focused on lead generation via email and LinkedIn outreach, qualifying prospects, and booking opportunities for the wider commercial team.</p><p>It’s ideal for someone who enjoys research, outreach strategy, and building commercial pipelines.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li><p>Identifying and researching UK-based prospects</p></li><li><p>Conducting high-volume email and LinkedIn outreach</p></li><li><p>Generating and qualifying new business opportunities</p></li><li><p>Booking meetings and creating commercial pipelines</p></li><li><p>Supporting wider sales campaigns</p></li><li><p>Working toward progression into Event Management</p></li></ul><p><strong>Earnings & Progression</strong></p><ul><li><p>£25,000 – £28,000 basic</p></li><li><p>Uncapped commission</p></li><li><p>Realistic OTE: £50,000 +</p></li><li><p>Clear progression pathway into Event Manager</p></li><li><p>International travel opportunities long-term</p></li><li><p>Structured training and mentoring</p></li></ul><p><strong>Who We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li><p>Organised and commercially minded individuals</p></li><li><p>Strong written communicators</p></li><li><p>Motivated by progression into Event Management</p></li><li><p>Bristol-based or able to commute</p></li></ul><p>If you want to break into the global events industry and build a long-term career toward Event Management, this is the ideal starting point.</p>
