About the Role

TownePlace Suites by Marriott, a Marriott-franchised hotel featuring 94 guest rooms, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for our guests. The Housekeeper reports to the Housekeeping Manager and is responsible for the following:

  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning kitchens, dusting, and vacuuming
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as needed
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
  •  Stock & maintain housekeeping cart daily
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to manager or supervisor in a timely manner
  • Prompt and regular attendance
  • The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week for part-time status
  • Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work, and overtime as required
  • Comply with hotel and/or department uniform and professional behavior and appearance standards
  • Review and approve electronic timecard weekly for accuracy
  • Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by leadership.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to stand; regularly use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The associate is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The associate may frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The associate will be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
