About the Role

Description

This role will be desked in Cokato, MN and will be traveling locally to our Processing Plant or Farm Sites for project work.  This position is scheduled for 7:00am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday).  

  

Seeking an electrician with a minimum of two (2) years electrical apprentice experience in commercial and agricultural wiring to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment. A Minnesota journeyman license is not required but is preferred. Must have current MN RE card.


Responsibilities 

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Communicate with contractors, ensuring project scope and timeline is maintained.
  • Local travel to various farm sites depending on project necessity.
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills & Knowledge

  • Minimum 2 years electrical apprentice experience in commercial and agricultural wiring
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to identify a problem and deal with it critically.
  • Strong mechanical, analytical, and solution driven skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication ability.
  • Must be able to use basic tools and machinery.
  • Experience with 3 phase, 480 volt, 24 volt dc control systems, and wearing proper PPE.
  • Able to work later hours (after normal production) including some nights and weekends as needed.
