We support varied industries, including Aviation, Food Services, and Hospitality. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome an Electrician (Journeyman) to join our dynamic team.
Scope of Role:
The Electrician (Journeyman) is responsible for performing skilled electrical work in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in a commercial environment, in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical theory, blueprints, and wiring diagrams, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Compensation: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour (Based on Experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k
Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30 pm, 10:00pm - 6:30am. Days off to be Determined.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install AC and DC circuits of varying voltages, including power distribution systems, fire detection and suppression systems, HVAC systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), programmable logic controllers PLCs), motor controllers, lighting systems, and associated controls
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and manage work orders (WOs) for assigned areas using the facility’s CMMS system
- Inspect and test electrical components, including transformers, circuit breakers, and panels
- Identify and resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and diagnostic tools
- Follow all safety standards and electrical codes (NEC)
Requirements
- Must have at least four (4) years of relevant work experience
- Experience working in commercial or industrial facilities (airport or large-scale facilities a plus)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and applicable codes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Physically capable of working in various environments and at different heights
- Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
