About the Role

Description

Left Hand Brewing Company is looking for an outstanding candidate to join our righteously independent brewery in Longmont, Colorado, located in the heart of the foothills and gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. A passion for craft beer, with a desire to learn and grow along with the company’s expansion, is a must. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to work well under pressure all while keeping a positive demeanor and staying on task. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:

· Performs PMs, work orders, and capital projects on process equipment, facilities, and fleet as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

· Executes repairs immediately in the event of safety or equipment failures.

· Able to respond to after-hours maintenance calls as scheduled.

· Ensures facilities are safe, clean, organized, and presentable to the general public.

· Reviews and updates Asset Essentials CMMS software on a daily basis.

· Maintains safe, clean, and organized work areas.

· Ability to lift 55lbs repeatedly throughout the day and up to 75 lbs occasionally. Ability to execute team lift on heavier items as needed.  Ability to maneuver kegs weighing 165 lbs either solo or with a team member.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time, ascend or descend ladders, stairs, and or ramps using feet and legs and/or hands and arms, and move self into different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces.

· Maintains forklift certification.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

· Excellent organizational skills and a proven history of multitasking, working in a support role as part of a team.  

· Strong mechanical vocabulary and experience in mechanical repair is required.

· Strong mechanical aptitude.

· Carpentry/construction experience preferred

· Knowledge of brewing and packaging process is preferred.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Self-starter, who’s excited to work in the coolest industry around.

· Previous experience in a maintenance role or manufacturing role. Must have good mechanical aptitude.




This is a full-time hourly position with a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan, ESOP, paid time off, and of course world class beer. We do not cover relocation costs.
