About the Role

Description

Inspire Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join an enthusiastic team in the Trauma (TSS)/Acute Care Surgical (ACS) Division that serves the growing population of Fresno, CA at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC).


CRMC is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the Central Valley of California, serving a large and diverse patient population. CRMC is a teaching institution affiliated with UCSF Fresno’s surgical residency program, making it an ideal environment for collaborative learning opportunities and professional development.


The PA will be trained in the management of trauma and acute care surgical patients on a rotational basis throughout all levels of care, including the trauma bay, surgical floor, and intensive care unit. They will participate in the initial assessment and stabilization of acute trauma patients as well as performing daily rounds on admitted patients. Procedures performed include tube thoracostomy, central venous catheter placement, arterial line placement, and wound management.

This position is based in Fresno, California – a city with a quality of life that is uniquely Californian, yet affordable. Salary: $135,000/yr.

The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation may be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors. Actual compensation may also vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, and/or productivity.

Requirements

  • Current or Eligibility to obtain a California Physician Assistant License
  • Graduate of ARC-PA Accredited Physician Assistant Program is required
  • Certified or in process NCCPA Certification
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
