R&P is looking for an experienced Senior Configuration Manager/Task Lead who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Configuration Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate.
Responsibilities
As Task Lead, oversee a team of professionals providing support to the Navy's Configuration Management Coorindator to include but not limited to the folllowing:
- Provide overall Configuration & Change Management task leadership demonstrating working knowledge and understanding of the complex requirements and financial analyses required to support the execution of an ACAT 1 shipbuilding program.
- Provide CM status accounting of all Class changes and associated information, and provide reports, schedules, recommendations, CM plans and policies, baseline metrics, and CM briefs as necessary to support in the Government's management of the technical and contractual baselines.
- Provide support in the area of baseline contract alignment across the Program Office to maintain ship systems' baseline design configuration throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including: configuration control baseline (CCBL) management, technical baseline and change baseline.
- Provide support in the area of the change review and approval process, including support of the Configuration Change Board (CCB) as well as local SUPSHIP level approval and associated status accounting management.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years' experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.
- First-hand experience with Navy shipbuilding configuration management process.
- Familiarity with TeamCenter (TcE) Workflows and Business Objects related to Class changes (i.e., PCs, RCIAs, LIs, CCBL documents) is Preferred
