POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Human Resources Coordinator facilitates a wide range of HR processes with a focus on talent acquisition, maintenance of employee records and administrative support to the HR department. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources and general administrative responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Assisting with the identification, selection, and interviewing of candidates.
- Supporting the administrative part of the new hire process (screening, offer letters, updating of HR systems).
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation.
- Administer pre-employment checks and monitor progress.
- Assisting scheduling and conducting initial phone interviews as needed.
Administrative tasks
- Assist HR Generalist with daily administrative tasks.
- Answering internal and external HR-related queries and requests.
- Process employee change of status forms.
- Maintaining and updating employee records (in HRIS)
- Monitor HR Department annual compliance and benefit events.
Reporting and recommending
- Conducting audits of HR programs such as payroll, benefits, etc.
- Recommending possible actions to improve existing processes.
- Participating in HR Department meetings involving department development and initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

- At least one year of human resource or talent acquisition experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS.
