Job Description

Your role as Key Contact Manager 

This is a highly dynamic role in which you spend 90% of your time visiting customers in your territory. 

 

  • Business development : You are responsible for achieving the turnover and sales targets in your region and continuously look for opportunities to grow the business. 

  • Administration, reporting and communications : You report directly to the Key Account & Sales Manager Veterinary and ensure that administrative tasks are completed correctly and within the agreed upon time frames and formats. 

  • Commercial plan : You develop a commercial action plan for your region, focusing on product priorities, launches, sales results and market developments. You present this plan to your Sales Manager and execute it once approved. 

  • Territory Management : You maintain regular contact with customers to strengthen strategic relationships. You monitor changes in customer potential and update the client database regularly.  

  • Technical skills development : You keep your technical knowledge and product expertise up to date through internal and external training, reading specialised literature, and actively participating in meetings with Marketing and the Technical Manager. 

  • Networking : You strengthen Vetoquinol’s position in the veterinary market by actively participating in external meetings, fairs and networking events.  

  • External Communication : You act as a key point of contact for your clients and communicate as a true business coach. You report any product complaints to the relevant Pharmacovigilance or Quality Assurance contacts. You provide veterinarians with highquality technical advice based on your scientific interest and product expertise. 

Qualifications

What do we expect from you? 

  • You have a scientific or Commercial degree or equivalent experience. 

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in mixed medicine, ideally in the veterinary or pharmaceutical field. 

  • You know how to build and maintain relationships; you are highly communicative. 

  • You are results oriented, analytical and follow your action plans closely.oriented, analytical and follow your action plans closely. 

  • You are proactive, independent, persistent and motivated. 

  • Knowledge of French and basic English is essential.
