Job Description

We’re looking for an Associate eCommerce Inventory Planner – North America to support inventory accuracy, operational excellence, and data‑driven decision-making across Salomon.com in the U.S. and Canada.

This role is perfect for an early‑career inventory, planning, or supply chain professional who enjoys working with data, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and playing a key part in ensuring our products are available when consumers want them.

You’ll support contract inventory management, monthly reconciliations, data analysis, and product readiness—helping drive strong inventory health and successful eCommerce performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

Contract Inventory Management & Reconciliation

  • Maintain and reconcile monthly contract inventory levels for all product categories across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Ensure contract quantities accurately reflect sales trends, forecasts, and current demand.
  • Prepare analysis and reporting to support monthly contract reconciliation meetings with Demand Planning.

Data Analysis & Inventory Optimization

  • Analyze inventory data to identify opportunities that improve inventory health, productivity, and sell‑through.
  • Track and communicate key metrics to help the team understand risks, gaps, and opportunities.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Customer Service to manage and update contracts accurately and efficiently in SAP.
  • Support Demand Planning by providing accurate data and insights that inform buy plans and replenishment needs.
  • Work closely with the eCommerce Merchandising team to ensure products are available on time for launches, campaigns, and key moments on Salomon.com.

PreSeason Buy & Business Support

  • Provide analytical support for PreSeason buy decision-making.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations that help shape category-level buy quantities and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Merchandising, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory planning, demand planning, merchandising, or supply chain (eCommerce experience preferred but not required).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and/or inventory management systems.
  • Experience working in SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within the eCommerce planning function.
  • Passion for the outdoor industry, sports, and the Salomon brand preferred.
