OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for an Assembly Operator III who will be responsible for executing complex assembly tasks, maintaining equipment, and upholding strict quality standards. Your expertise in assembly techniques, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will be vital to our continued success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble intricate components and parts to create finished products based on technical drawings and specifications
  • Perform thorough inspections and quality checks during and after assembly to ensure products meet stringent quality standards and specifications
  • Identify and address any issues or defects in the assembly process, collaborating with colleagues to find effective solutions
  • Operate specialized machinery and tools, ensuring safe and efficient operation
  • Maintain accurate records of production and quality control data, including detailed checklists and reports
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and fellow team members
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced assembly operators to improve overall team performance
  • Work to meet or exceed production targets while minimizing downtime and optimizing efficiency

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an Assembly Operator II or similar role in a manufacturing environment (3+ years)
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and work instructions
  • Exceptional attention to detail, manual dexterity, and fine motor skills
  • Proficient in machine operation and basic equipment maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
  • In-depth knowledge of workplace safety procedures

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high places, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and may require hearing protection in specific locations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stand for long periods and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. For specific jobs, employees may be required to wear a respirator or ear plugs.
