Position Summary:
We are seeking a caring, faith-filled educator to teach students in Grades 3–5. The successful candidate will nurture academic excellence, faith development, and positive character formation within a Catholic school environment.


Note: All employees are required to consent to a background check, commit to our Code of

Conduct policy, and complete online and in-person trainings prior to hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards for Grades 3–5

  • Create a supportive classroom environment grounded in Catholic values and Gospel teachings

  • Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth

  • Integrate Catholic teachings into daily instruction and classroom routines

  • Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians

  • Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parish community

  • Participate in school liturgies, faith activities, and professional development

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)

  • Commitment to Catholic education and support of the school’s mission

  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a faith-based school community

  • Prior experience teaching elementary grades is an asset
  • Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
  • Practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred, but not required.
  • Practicing Catholic with ethical standards, personal integrity, and conduct consistent with the morals and teachings of the Catholic Church.
