We are seeking a creative, data-driven Marketing Specialist to join our Seattle team. In this role, you will implement marketing and communications initiatives that raise awareness, strengthen community engagement, and support fundraising efforts. You’ll collaborate across teams to amplify our voice and deepen our connection with prospective patients, supporters, partners, and the communities we serve. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $31.25 to $34.49.
This is a full-time, in-person role, with a Monday–Friday rhythm, 9am-5pm- with the potential for some flexibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Marketing
- Collaborate with Marketing and Development Manager to optimize and maintain Search Engine Marketing campaigns (Google AdWords).
- Optimize website content and user experience in collaboration with the web team or external vendors.
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
Content Creation & Management
- Collaborate with Marketing and Development Manager and Chief Transformation Officer to produce compelling content for email newsletters, blog posts, donor communications, social media, CONNEX and the website.
- Manage Content Creation and other Marketing and Development Department Asana project management boards.
Community and Public Relations
- Collaborate with Fundraising and Donor Development Manager to represent the organization at community and networking events to enhance visibility and foster partnerships.
- Support annual fundraising event, including working with Marketing and Development Manager or pre-event planning and logistics, silent auction item solicitation and day of event coordination.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for Marketing and Development Departments, assist Marketing and Development Manager and Patient Care Supervisor with collecting data and creating charts for monthly Marketing & Development Report.
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Canva, WordPress, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Passion for social impact and a strong commitment to the organization’s mission.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Experience managing marketing budgets or working with vendors/agencies.

- Ability to use a computer and telephone, as well as other standard office equipment
- Mobility requirements may involve navigating various work areas, including stairs or ramps.
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift, and/or carry supplies up to 25 pounds
- Work takes place in a social services environment where long periods of sitting, working on a computer, and standing (with accommodations provided for specific positions).
- Travel to program sites and meetings outside the site and around the county are necessary
- Ability to work in an environment where there may be animals present, including dogs
