In February 1906, the First National Bank of Syracuse was chartered and opened for business, serving Hamilton County through good times and bad. The bank grew throughout the years, playing a key role in growing the community and bringing the dairy industry to southwest Kansas. The bank expanded to Johnson in 1995, Garden City in 2006, and Ulysses in 2016. In the fall of 2022, we are opening a Loan Production Office followed by a branch in Hugoton. Dream First Bank was founded as First National Bank of Syracuse in an old-fashioned business sense. Through more than 100 years in the community, Dream First Bank has pursued a desire to help our agricultural neighbors be successful year to year. From the roaring of the 1920s to the lows of the Great Depression, our bank doors stayed open and remained steadfast in our dream to truly improve every life we touched.
