Position Overview:
The Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist will provide speech and language services within an elementary school setting, working with students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy services, and collaborating with educators and families to support student progress.
Your bilingual skills will play a critical role in ensuring services are culturally appropriate and accessible, helping bridge communication gaps between students, families, and school staff.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field and possess an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license or be eligible to obtain licensure. Applicants must also hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech endorsement. The ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply and will receive ASHA-compliant supervision. Bilingual proficiency is required for this role.Benefits
