About the Role

Competitive Pay: Hourly rates start at $25/hr, with higher compensation available for candidates with extensive experience!

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage patient scheduling across multiple locations, ensuring provider efficiency and patient satisfaction using Dentrix Ascend, Open Dental or similar software.
Lead front office operations, streamlining patient check-in/check-out, documentation accuracy, and workflow coordination.
Be the primary point of contact for patient inquiries, providing clear and compassionate communication regarding treatments, financial policies, and appointment logistics.
Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Coordinate with providers, treatment coordinators, and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.
Train and mentor junior receptionists and administrative staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and exceptional service.
Optimize scheduling strategies to maximize provider productivity while keeping wait times minimal.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in dental reception, front office administration, or a similar senior role.
Proficient in dental office software (Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and oversee front office staff.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities to handle high-volume, fast-paced environments confidently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, patient-first mindset.
