Responsibilities:
✔ Assist the orthodontist chairside during a variety of procedures, helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for patients.
✔ Help prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments and materials ahead of each visit.
✔ Keep dental instruments clean and organized, following all safety and sterilization guidelines.
✔ Take clear and accurate digital X-rays as directed.
✔ Maintain patient records and assist with charting during and after appointments.
✔ Support the team by helping with orthodontic procedures like braces, retainer fittings, and wire changes.
✔ Follow all infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and team members.
Qualifications:
✔ Some experience working chairside in a dental or orthodontic setting (school or externships count!).
✔ Willingness to learn and grow in the field of orthodontics.
✔ Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
✔ Good communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused mindset.
✔ Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a busy office.
✔ Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend is a bonus but not required!
