As an Outpatient Counselor you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and facilitating group and individual sessions for patients seeking assistance with substance use disorders. This role will be primarily stationed at our Maquoketa location, with travel to Clinton on designated days.
Key Duties:
- Manages and maintains a caseload of outpatient clients
- Initiates, implements, and reviews a treatment plan for all assigned clients
- Coordinates all service delivery for assigned clients
- Provides individual counseling to all assigned clients
- Facilitate group counseling for selected clients
- Coordinates client involvement with other agencies
- Attends training as needed and directed, provides education and information to other community and general public
- Provides urinalysis monitoring on an as needed basis; maintains contact with referring agency or person; and conducts intake and assessments on a regular basis.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in substance abuse counseling, social work, human services, counseling or related field, a Master's degree and a certification from the IBC is preferred.

ASAC offers competitive compensation, this role starts at $24.07 with additional compensation for candidates with extensive experience.
