Make a Difference
The Benefits Manager leads the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs across Community Health Network, including health, welfare, retirement, and voluntary plans. This role manages and develops a benefits team, oversees vendor relationships and service performance, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
The Benefits Manager partners closely with Payroll, HRIS, IT, Legal, and HR Business Partners to resolve escalated issues, support open enrollment, and deliver a high-quality benefits experience for caregivers. Responsibilities also include benefits data analysis and reporting, oversight of eligibility and payroll deductions, and support of benefit plan design initiatives, communications, and special projects—while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, service-oriented team culture.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving. They should also have:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
5+ years of professional experience in employee benefits
2+ years of supervisory/management experience
Strong knowledge of employee benefits laws and regulations
Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems
Leadership and team development
Vendor management and negotiation
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex organization
Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
