Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a private, non-profit corporation working under contract with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services to persons, age three and above, with a developmental disability pursuant to the Lanterman Act. ACRC also provides services to infants and toddlers, between birth and 36 months, who have a need for early intervention services and who meet the eligibility criteria for the California Early Start program.

THE ORGANIZATION

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a non-profit agency under contract to the State of California and for 50 years has provided the coordination of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. ACRC employs approximately 800+ individuals working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.


COMPENSATION

The below is dependent upon experience and education.

  • $34.94 - 40.43/hr.

The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.


THE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY

ACRC is seeking a Financial Analyst at the Sacramento office. This is a confidential position to provide accurate, and timely recording, reporting, and analysis of Purchase of Service (POS) and Operations (OPS) financial information. Duties include managing accounts receivable; make manual journal entries and reconcile assigned Balance Sheet General Ledger Accounts; Support annual CPA audit and DDS audit and respond to requests and provide documentation; Gather and analyze information and create reports and financial documentation with high degree of accuracy, within appropriate time guidelines and maintain complete, neat and well-organized records and files.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or other related field with 2 years of experience in public or private Accounting, responsibility for accounting activities, financial analysis/reporting, and/or bank reconciliations. *The bachelor’s degree requirement may be substituted with a combination of education, training, and experience of at least 5 years. Must possess the ability to read, interpret, and implement regulations with consistency, the ability to focus on detail for lengthy periods with a high degree of accuracy, ability to do complex work and meet schedules and timelines; the ability to summarize data and prepare organized reports within timelines.
