The Case Aide Supervisor will plan and help assure that the health, safety, and permanency needs of the children served by Youthnet are expediently addressed while providing ongoing support to Case Aides employed by Youthnet. The Case Aide Supervisor provides guidance and oversight to Case Aides to ensure that each youth’s supervision and behavioral management needs are met in alignment with their individualized support or treatment plans. This role also ensures that Case Aides consistently perform their required duties and maintain full compliance with CPA, BRS, and CSP contract standards. 


What You Will Do

 

  • Support Case Managers in finding coverage and ultimately supporting the region's team. Being available and able to provide Case Aide shifts as needed. 
  • Supporting staff in building strong relationships by doing recreational activities with clients, meeting clients’ needs, being a positive role model, maintaining healthy boundaries, and responding appropriately to negative behavior from a trauma-informed standpoint. 
  • Provide shadowing opportunities for new staff members with clients as part of the onboarding process, when needed. 
  • Provide one-on-one supervision regularly for Case Aides, at no less than a once-a-month frequency. Documenting Case Aide identified areas of growth, progress, disciplinary actions, and compliance. 
  • Support new Case Aides through onboarding, training, and scheduling shadow shifts. Supporting and Follow-up throughout the process to ensure compliance and quality of work is being met. 
  • Maintains staff by interviewing, orienting, and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities. 
  • Implements and enforces systems, timelines, policies, and procedures. 
  • Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching 
  • Prepare and Facilitate Monthly Meetings & training material for staff 
  • Approve work hours and time off requests through Paylocity for team 
  • Approve Mileage Reimbursement for team 
  • Maintain regulation box items at local offices. Distribute to staff as needed. 
  • Track car seat and box inventory, distribute as needed at local offices 
  • Track activity items at local offices: sports equipment, fishing poles, etc. 
  • Prepare and submit performance reports, with support of Program Management. 
  • Submit Case Aide reports as needed to support Case Managers 
  • Monthly tracking of Case Aide Reports for each individual program. Ensure accurate reporting in a timely manner from all staff. Complete data to be able to import into Monthly tracker for the Traditional & Caregiver Support Program.
  • Publish all upcoming training, events, and meetings to When I Work for staff awareness. 
  • Ensure schedules are up to date on When I Work with all appropriate information. 
  • Support Case Managers in scheduling and contacting Case Aides to ensure Case Aide needs are met. This includes having a working knowledge of individual Case aide availability, needs, and strengths. 
  • Attend all staff meetings and other mandatory trainings as required by Youthnet 
  • Maintain an accurate and consistent accounting of working & in-office hours in Google Calendar 
  • Support in building ongoing structure, policy, and protocol for the Case Aide Program.

Requirements

What You Will Bring

Education and Experience:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED, preferred Associates Degree in Human Services or related field; 
  • Must be at least 21 years old; possess a valid Washington State driver’s license and have proof of automobile insurance that meets the statutorily required minimum amounts of coverage; 
  • Must have the ability to pass a Washington State criminal check and FBI fingerprinting if required; 
  • Have one year of experience working with children and families; 
  • Have the skills and abilities to work successfully with challenging behaviors of children in care; 
  • Have a basic understanding of family systems and child development; 
  • Have effective written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills; 
  • Possess the ability to work with & supervise diverse groups and populations; 
  • Possess knowledge of community resources for youth & staff; 
  • Have the ability to interact as a team member and provide feedback; 
  • Must be proficient with basic computer software, such as Google suite and Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of and the ability to lead group meetings
  • Familiarity with organization policies and guidelines of the TFN & Case Aide program
