About the Role

Description

This position offers a guaranteed 20-hour base workweek as you build your clinical caseload, with the opportunity to grow to 30 hours per week as your caseload develops. We are committed to supporting your professional growth while you provide transformative, trauma-informed care to the children and families we serve. 

The Family Support Center at Canopy Village is a trauma informed safe teen assessment and resource center, providing case management, care coordination, behavioral health services, activities and groups to children and their families. We aim to prevent and divert youth from juvenile justice and child welfare systems through a single point of contact which identifies underlying issues contributing to concerning behavior and partners with youth and families to access individualized services and/or resources.

Responsible for providing therapeutic services and case management to youth and their families while collaborating with service providers within the agency and the community. This individual works closely with and reports directly to the Director of Family Support Services. This individual may provide therapeutic services to youth in the residential program in addition to regular outpatient caseload.

Requirements

Job Duties:

Clinical Services Delivery

· Provide individual and family therapy utilizing evidence-based, trauma-informed practices.

· Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral health needs and contributing factors.

· Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans.

· Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency, state, and federal requirements. 

· Provide therapeutic services to both outpatient and residential youth as assigned.

· Participate in clinical on-call when indicated. 

Case Management & Care Coordination 

· Deliver comprehensive case management services to youth and families

· Coordinate care with residential treatment program providers and external providers.

· Connect families with appropriate community resources and support services.

· Monitor client progress and adjust service plans to ensure effective outcomes.

· Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.

Group Facilitation & Parent Support

· Develop and facilitate therapeutic groups for youth.

· Provide parent education and family skill-building curriculum.

· Support Direct Care Providers in developing strategies that promote stability and positive behavioral health. ter grants and ensure compliance with financial reporting and audit requirements.

Collaboration & Team Engagement

· Work collaboratively with residential team, family support center staff, and community partners.

· Provide training and support to direct care providers as appropriate.

· Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development activities.

· Contribute positively to program development and team effectiveness. 

Compliance and Professional Standards

· Adhere to NASW Code of Ethics and all applicable professional standards.

· Maintain compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and privacy regulations.

· Complete required certifications and maintain professional licensure.

· Follow all Canopy Village policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

· Fulfill mandatory reporting obligations and background clearance requirements. 

Other Duties

· Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

· Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy

· Current Idaho licensure required (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or LMFT

· Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care principles

· Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) training preferred

· Strong organizational, documentation, and professional communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively as a positive and effective team member  

  

Compensation and Benefits:

Range: $30-$35/Hour

Benefits: Medical- employee premiums at expense of employer based on PT and FT employment status

Option of 1: Dependent Care Account with $100 per month employer contribution or $1,200  annual education reimbursement
