Description
Movin’ on up…
Families come in all shapes and sizes—and that includes the Wendy’s family. As a Wendy’s Shift Manager, you’ll be part of a team that values fun, quality food, and reliability.
Our founder Dave Thomas had three simple rules for everyone who works here:
1. Do the right thing.
2. Treat people with respect.
3. Make food better than anyone expects from a fast-food place.
We know you’ve got the first two down… and we’ll help you master the third! Sound good? Keep reading.
What You'll Do
As a Shift Manager, you’re the one who keeps everything running smoothly. Think of yourself as the heartbeat of the restaurant:
• Bring the Wendy’s personality to life—fun, fast, and friendly (and never out of bacon).
• Handle customer situations—good or bad—with confidence and leadership.
• Support and train new team members so they understand how things work.
• Maintain top-notch food safety standards and procedures.
We Get It. We Get You.
Our food isn’t one-size-fits-all—and neither are our job opportunities. Wendy’s is a proud equal opportunity employer. We welcome individuals of all races, religions, nationalities, genders, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. We also provide reasonable accommodations to support people with disabilities in performing essential job functions.
Requirements
• 1+ years of restaurant experience.
• Experience leading, managing, or organizing a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong skills in problem solving, customer service, and decision making.
• Ability to give and take direction professionally.
• Flexible work availability.
• Travel to other Wendy’s locations as needed (restaurants, area office, etc.).
• Stand and move for most—or all—of your shift.
• Lift 25–50 lbs occasionally.
• Handle weather moments (rain at the drive thru, summer heat while taking out trash, etc.).
• Use a headset, register, grill, and other restaurant equipment while following Wendy’s brand standards.
