This individual champions human-centered, brand-aligned, and operationally intelligent design while ensuring seamless integration with construction, cost, and program delivery teams.

The ideal candidate blends strategic foresight with technical rigor, possesses deep knowledge of workplace trends, and thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments where design integrity must align with compliance, security, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Vision

  • Define and steward the design narrative for large-scale, mission-critical workplace projects from concept through completion.

  • Lead client design workshops to translate business strategy, culture, and operational needs into spatial experiences.

  • Ensure all design solutions reflect JLL’s commitment to sustainability (e.g., net-zero carbon, WELL, LEED), inclusivity, and innovation.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary design authority and trusted advisor to C-suite and real estate leaders at client organizations.

  • Present design concepts, options, and recommendations with clarity, confidence, and strategic rationale.

  • Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes—including legal, compliance, IT, and security teams—common in financial institutions.

Integrated Delivery Oversight

  • Collaborate closely with project management, cost consulting, engineering, and construction leads to ensure design intent is preserved without compromising budget or schedule.

  • Embed risk-aware design practices (e.g., secure zoning, acoustic privacy, redundancy planning) specific to regulated environments.

  • Review and approve all architectural and interior documentation for quality, constructability, and compliance.

Team Development & Thought Leadership

  • Mentor and guide a team of designers, architects, and interior specialists.

  • Contribute to JLL’s global design standards, toolkits, and knowledge sharing.

  • Represent JLL at industry forums, publish insights, and help shape the future of workplace design.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related design field.

  • Registered Architect or licensed Interior Designer (as applicable by region).

  • Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in workplace design, with at least 7 years focused on corporate interiors for financial services, legal, or other highly regulated sectors.

  • Proven track record leading design on projects valued at $20M+ or 100,000+ sq ft.

  • Expertise in design software (Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape/Twinmotion).

  • Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, sustainability frameworks (LEED, WELL, BREEAM), and data security requirements in physical environments.

Preferred

  • Experience working within an integrated Design & Build or multi-disciplinary delivery model.

  • Knowledge of hybrid work strategies, change management, and post-occupancy evaluation.

  • International project experience across EMEA, APAC, or the Americas.
