The Role

We are seeking a scrappy, strategic Growth Marketing Lead who thrives in a fast-moving, small-team environment. This is a player/coach role. You will shape strategy, drive execution, and help build the digital presence of a rising faith-based music brand. You will report directly to the Creative Director and collaborate closely with leadership and performers.


Key ResponsibilitiesA. Growth Strategy
  • Develop and execute a cohesive digital growth strategy
  • Identify platform-specific growth opportunities
  • Build repeatable systems for content creation and distribution
  • Translate brand mission into compelling digital presence
B. Social Media Leadership
  • Lead Instagram and TikTok strategy
  • Develop YouTube long-form and Shorts strategy
  • Write captions and oversee posting cadence
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize
C. Content Direction
  • Lead content days and coordinate production
  • Occasionally film/edit short-form content
  • Collaborate with Creative Director on storytelling
  • Maintain brand consistency across platforms
D. Performance Marketing
  • Manage small monthly ad budget
  • Test paid growth strategies for events and releases
E. Music Marketing
  • Support release rollouts
  • Grow Spotify engagement
  • Coordinate promotional pushes
  • Understand Christian music positioning and audience
What Success Looks Like

Within 12 months:

  • Significant growth in Instagram and TikTok followings
  • Increased ticket sales for self-produced events
  • Stronger brand clarity and digital legitimacy
  • Increased Spotify and YouTube visibility and engagement

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Strong understanding of Gen Z digital behavior
  • Proven experience growing social media accounts
  • Comfort with faith-based messaging
  • Ability to move quickly and experiment
  • Strong analytical instincts
  • Experience working in small teams
  • Clear examples of measurable results
Required Experience
  • 3+ years in digital marketing or growth marketing
  • Demonstrated follower growth results
  • Strong Instagram and TikTok fluency
  • Content planning and execution experience
  • Comfortable writing compelling copy
Preferred
  • Christian music or faith-based brand experience
  • Experience in music marketing
  • YouTube growth experience
  • Spotify release strategy experience
  • Paid ad experience (Meta/YouTube)
  • Email marketing experience
Structure & Compensation
  • Independent Contractor
  • 10–20 hours per week
  • Hybrid (some in-person collaboration in Orem, UT required)
  • $50–$75/hour depending on experience and demonstrated results
  • Opportunity to expand scope as the brand grows.
