Night Auditor

Location: Grand Timber Lodge, Breckenridge, CO

Position Type: Full-Time Non-Exempt

Compensation: $24.25 - $27.88/hour (DOE)

Schedule: Overnights, Tuesday thru Thursday


About the Role:

As the backbone of our overnight operations, you’ll balance dual roles, financial steward and guest service professional during the quiet hours when our resort transitions between business days. This isn’t just crunching numbers; its ensuring guests wake to accurate folios, Sharing Smiles in the stillness, and safeguarding our property’s security and readiness for the day ahead.

You’ll be the critical link between today’s memories and tomorrow’s operations, maintaining financial precision and guest comfort during the resort’s vital transition hours.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and reconcile all guest folios with 100% accuracy
  • Process credit card transactions and rate builder financials
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and audit reports
  • Conduct overnight front desk operations and reservations
  • Address guest inquiries with professionalism and care
  • Perform property security rounds and access control
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Generate critical daily reports for management
  • Maintain compliance with all accounting procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Ability to work overnight shifts (typically 11pm-7am)
  • Strong mathematical aptitude for financial reconciliation
  • Capability to lift 25 lbs. (luggage assistance as needed.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for 8-hour shifts
  • Comfortable working alone during overnight hours
  • Ability to respond calmly to emergency situations
  • Willingness to work weekends/holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year night audit experience in hospitality
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or Business
  • 6+ months experience in accounting, auditing, or night operations
  • Familiarity with property management systems
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Certification in accounting principles
