Data Scientist

Job Purpose

To extract actionable insights from complex data using statistical analysis,

machine learning, and advanced modeling techniques. The Data Scientist partners with business

and technical stakeholders to solve problems, predict outcomes, and enable data-driven decision- making through analytical solutions.

ACCOUNTIBILITIES

Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities that impact business outcomes.

Build and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to solve business problems.

Translate business objectives into analytical approaches and present results with clear recommendations.

Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), hypothesis testing, and data profiling to understand data behavior.

Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data readiness, pipeline integrity, and model deployment.

Validate and monitor models post-deployment to ensure accuracy, fairness, and business value.

Communicate findings to stakeholders through dashboards, visualizations, and presentations. 

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements: Bachelor of computer science, business information systems or any related fields

Special Certification or Training Required: Data Analytics

Required Industry Experience: 1 - 4 years

Technological Requirements: Databases - Data Lakes
