Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Jasper, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new or improved manufacturing processes, driving efficiency and quality improvements across our production facilities.

  • Analyze, develop, and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products and processes
  • Create and coordinate the implementation of manufacturing process improvements
  • Conduct feasibility studies and introduce designs and drawings to the Manufacturing team
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for manufacturing operations
  • Analyze existing operating methods and initiate new approaches to enhance economy and quality
  • Coordinate prototype drawings for products or processes with necessary support personnel
  • Collaborate with process associates to address concerns regarding processes, safety, and equipment
  • Provide daily support to manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting equipment and generating programs as needed
  • Assist in layout changes and equipment moves for existing or new equipment introductions
  • Support and develop the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) process in production
  • Evaluate and justify new equipment and process needs
  • Apply lean manufacturing tools to troubleshoot and support production
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
    • Recent graduates and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply
    • Equivalent combinations of education, internships, co-ops, or professional experience will be considered
  • 0–7 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or related technical roles
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; internships, co-ops, and academic projects may count toward experience
  • Working knowledge of 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes, CNC programming, automation, or industrial systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality principles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and contribute to multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control concepts
  • Experience or interest in process optimization, equipment justification, and technical improvement initiatives
  • Awareness of industry safety standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening, verbal, written, and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across engineering, operations, and quality teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset and curiosity to develop technical and business expertise
