We’re seeking a passionate LBS1 Instructor for the remainder of the academic year to provide focused support in a resource classroom environment. Job Highlights:

• Deliver small-group and individualized instruction in core academic areas to support IEP goals.
  
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-wide initiatives that enhance student outcomes.
  
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum materials and modify instruction for diverse learners.
  
• Monitor and document student progress, completing IEP updates, data tracking, and progress reports accurately and on time.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement.

Experience working with grade school students and supporting mild to moderate learning needs is preferred.
