About the Role

Hello, we’re SURI (Sustainable Rituals)—we’re on a mission to radically transform oral care for people and planet, with beautiful everyday essentials designed for life. 

Since launching our sustainable sonic toothbrush in 2022, we’ve delighted over 300k customers across the UK, Europe and US. In doing so, SURI has risen to become the highest-rated electric toothbrush on Trustpilot, while achieving B-Corp certification and securing listings in major US and UK retailers. As well as garnering widespread media attention, SURI has also picked up numerous prestigious industry awards including The Grocer Startup of the Year, Red Dot Design Award, and the Marie Claire Sustainability Award.

We’re looking for a copywriter who can write ads people actually want to watch — and then make them convert. You’ll craft compelling scripts and punchy copy across multiple channels, with a focus on premium storytelling, clarity, and performance.

This is a creative role, but not a “just write the lines” role. You’ll help shape concepts from the start, develop narratives that hold attention, and translate them into high-performing, channel-native executions.

What you’ll do
  • Translate campaign propositions into best-in-class ads that can travel across multiple channels
  • Write standout scripts for video campaigns across TV, YouTube, and paid social
  • Develop concepts, angles, and story frameworks for ads (not just final copy delivery)
  • Create channel-native work that fits the platform while maintaining brand polish
  • Write short-form, high-impact copy for statics, outdoor, and punchy cutdowns
  • Work closely with creative, growth, and production teams to bring campaigns to life
  • Build creative iterations based on performance data, without losing craft or originality
  • Maintain a consistently premium tone and emotional resonance across formats
    • A strong storyteller with proven scriptwriting craft
    • Experience writing for polished, brand-led video placements (TV / YouTube style work)
    • Ability to adapt the same core idea into multiple lengths and formats (6s → 30s+)
    • A sharp short-form writer who can land a single line that does all the work
    • Strong grasp of advertising fundamentals, and how creative impacts results
    • Comfortable shaping ideas early — positioning, hooks, tone, and narrative structure
    • Taste level: you care deeply about writing that feels premium and original, not formulaic
  • Central London offices- based in London Bridge; a stone’s throw from Borough Market
