Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel set to open in Q2 2026 will bring contemporary style and Laotian flair to the heart of the capital, just minutes from Wat Si Saket, Vientiane Night Market, and Chao Anouvong Park. The hotel’s 197 guest rooms and suites will blend modern design with local touches, offering its guests the choice of four dining venues, including an international all-day dining restaurant, a western comfort food concept and bar, and a Southeast Asian fine-dining restaurant. Guests will enjoy Avani Spa with five treatment rooms, an Avani Fit fitness centre and studio, an outdoor swimming pool, and versatile event spaces including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.
Job Description
As E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for driving the hotel’s online performance across all digital distribution channels. You will play a key role in strengthening the hotel’s online presence, optimizing conversion, and maximizing revenue through direct and third-party channels. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Corporate teams, you will ensure alignment with Minor Hotels and Avani brand strategies while delivering measurable commercial results.
As part of the pre-opening leadership team, you will support the setup, launch, and ongoing optimization of all e-commerce platforms to ensure a strong digital foundation from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the hotel’s e-commerce strategy in line with brand guidelines, revenue objectives, and market positioning.
Manage and optimize all online distribution channels, including brand website, OTAs, GDS, and other digital platforms.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and optimization of hotel content, rates, availability, promotions, and offers across all online channels.
Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics, including conversion rates, channel mix, booking trends, and campaign effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to support pricing strategies, promotions, and demand generation initiatives.
Work with Marketing Communications and Corporate teams to support digital campaigns, SEO/SEM initiatives, and online brand visibility.
Manage online reputation and guest review platforms in coordination with Operations and Marketing teams.
Prepare regular performance reports and insights, providing recommendations to improve online revenue and channel efficiency.
Support pre-opening activities, including system setup, content loading, channel activation, and SOP development.
Ensure compliance with Minor Hotels policies, brand standards, and digital best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-Commerce, Digital Media, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online distribution within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of hotel distribution channels, OTAs, brand.com performance, and digital booking behavior.
Proven experience working with e-commerce platforms, channel managers, and analytics tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Lao and/or Thai is required.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to perform in a fast-paced pre-opening and operational environment.
Local market knowledge and experience required.
