Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel set to open in Q2 2026 will bring contemporary style and Laotian flair to the heart of the capital, just minutes from Wat Si Saket, Vientiane Night Market, and Chao Anouvong Park. The hotel’s 197 guest rooms and suites will blend modern design with local touches, offering its guests the choice of four dining venues, including an international all-day dining restaurant, a western comfort food concept and bar, and a Southeast Asian fine-dining restaurant. Guests will enjoy Avani Spa with five treatment rooms, an Avani Fit fitness centre and studio, an outdoor swimming pool, and versatile event spaces including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Job Description

As Duty Manager, you will be the face of the hotel during your shift - leading operations, energizing the team, and ensuring every guest experiences the vibrant, lifestyle-driven atmosphere of Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane

You are not just managing operations - you are shaping moments. From welcoming VIPs to resolving challenges with confidence and warmth, you will ensure seamless coordination across all departments while maintaining a dynamic and guest-focused environment.

This role is essential in delivering smooth, stylish, and memorable experiences - especially during our exciting pre-opening and launch phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring a seamless and engaging guest journey.

  • Act as Manager on Duty, confidently handling guest concerns and delivering professional service recovery.

  • Personally welcome VIPs and key guests to create memorable first impressions.

  • Monitor service flow, occupancy, and room readiness to maintain operational excellence.

  • Maintain strong visibility in public areas, supporting the team and interacting with guests.

  • Ensure brand standards, cleanliness, and presentation reflect Avani’s modern lifestyle identity.

  • Support Front Office operations during peak periods to maintain smooth check-in and check-out processes.

  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and proactive service.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

  • Support pre-opening training and service culture implementation.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Front Office or Rooms Division within an international hotel environment.

  • Previous supervisory experience required.

  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards.

  • Experience with PMS systems (Opera or similar) is preferred.

  • Good communication skills in both Lao and English.

  • Confident, energetic, and guest-focused personality.

  • Able to remain composed and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
