Description

Position Overview: As an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant at “APDO”, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our patients. Your professionalism, exceptional customer service and communication skills, and attention to detail will be vital in upholding our reputation for high-end orthodontic care.

  • Assisting orthodontists during patient appointments
  • Fit bands for appliances, place arch wires, bond brackets, place fixed retainers, take impressions and digital scans (iTero)
  • Patient education on care orthodontic instructions

Compensation Package:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.
  • DANB x-ray certification required. In certification process is acceptable.
  • Experience working in an orthodontic setting is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with children and parents.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in helping young patients have positive dental experiences.
  • Familiarity with dental software for charting and record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
