About the Role

Work Arrangement

This role is categorized as on-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Headquarter building in Shanghai, China at least three times per week.

The Role -

We are looking for a highly motivated Analyst Intern to join our team in the automotive industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply programming, AI and analytical skills to support market analysis and forecasting in a fast-evolving sector. You will work on projects involving vehicle market trends, consumer behavior, competitive intelligence, contributing directly to business insights and innovation.

What You’ll Do -

  • Analyze automotive market data, including sales, pricing, and consumer trends.
  • Support forecasting models for vehicle demand, electrification, and mobility trends.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze datasets using programming tools.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and industry research.
  • Automate reporting processes and streamline data workflows.
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Passion for the automotive industry and emerging mobility trends.
  • Python: Data manipulation, visualization and basic machine learning.
  • SQL: Writing queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Excel: Advanced functions, pivot tables, and data modeling.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git/GitHub for code collaboration.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)​ 

  • Knowledge of automotive market dynamics, including NEVs, ICEs, and mobility services.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with APIs, web scraping, or connected vehicle data.
  • Prior internship or project experience in market or data analysis.
