The Opportunity:

As a Command Linguist, you’ll bring your defense security cooperation expertise to work on projects for the Space mission. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes through your Korean language proficiency.

You Have:  

  • 2+ years of experience with interpretation from Korean to English and from English to Korean
  • 1+ year of experience conducting interpretation for senior ranking military officials
  • Knowledge of U.S. National and U.S. Military space policies and strategies, and key space domain vocabulary
  • Ability to show a score of 3/3 on the Interagency Language Round Table (ILRT) in the Korean language
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with Intelligence
  • 3+ years of experience with strategy, policy, or planning
  • 3+ years of experience supporting large-scale exercises
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Space Force operations

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
