Job Overview:

A Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) serves as a vital member of the interdisciplinary hospice team, delivering compassionate and skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, development of individualized care plans, and the administration of medications with a focus on effective symptom management. Requirements

Hospice LPN Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of a state-approved practical nursing program.
  • Examination: Successful completion of the NCLEX-PN (National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses).
  • Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, valid auto insurance
  • Current CPR and BCLS certification
  • Minimum two years of experience as an LPN, hospice preferred
