Position Summary

Gazaway Lumber & Hardware Co. is seeking a highly motivated, aggressive Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage a territory of builders, contractors, and commercial accounts. This position is designed for a driven sales professional who thrives on hunting new business, building strong relationships, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

· Prospect and aggressively pursue new contractor and builder accounts

· Maintain and grow an assigned sales territory

· Conduct regular job site and office visits

· Prepare competitive quotes for lumber and building materials

· Build long-term customer relationships

· Meet and exceed sales and margin goals

· Collaborate with inside sales, estimating, and yard teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

Qualifications

· Proven outside sales experience (building materials preferred)

· Strong knowledge of lumber and construction materials preferred but not necessary

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills

· Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and drive results

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
