At Block Party Hotels, we’re not your typical beach hotel, and we’re not looking for a typical Housekeeping Supervisor.
Located in the heart of Dewey Beach, Block Party Hotels is known for its fun, fast-paced environment, strong team culture, and commitment to delivering clean, comfortable, and memorable stays for every guest. We’re looking for a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and knows how to motivate a team while maintaining high standards.
This is a key leadership role responsible for helping ensure our guest rooms and public spaces are spotless, organized, and ready to welcome every guest.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and support housekeeping team members, including room attendants and public area attendants
- Assign daily boards, manage workflow, and ensure rooms are cleaned on time and to standard
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and quality
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver excellent results
- Partner closely with the Front Desk and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are guest-ready
- Help manage inventory, supplies, and linen levels
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally
- Lead by example, this is a working supervisor role that requires being present and engaged with the team
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of hotel housekeeping experience required
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness
- Someone who is dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- A positive attitude and ability to motivate and support a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume beach hotel environment
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
This is an active role that requires:
- Walking and standing for extended periods
- Inspecting rooms and public areas
- Bending, lifting, and moving items up to 40 lbs.
- Demonstrating cleaning techniques and assisting the team as needed
