We are looking for a professional and driven Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Idaho Housing and Finance Association. As an HR Assistant, you will assist with HR operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and contributing to a positive work environment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their HR career or transitioning into the HR field, offering hands-on experience and direct support to the organization.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Support onboarding programs for new hires
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases accurately
  • Direct employee inquiries to the appropriate HR team member
  • Create HR communication and reports as required
  • Ensure that company intranet and HRIS are kept up to date
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities
  • Other job duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to create clean, visually appealing documents or presentations in PowerPoint, Word, and Canva
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or HR role preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in HRIS or payroll systems preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
