About the Role

The corporate trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for employees within an organization, collaborating with managers to identify skill gaps and develop customized training courses to enhance employee performance and align with company goals, often including new hire onboarding, ongoing skill development, and compliance training; key duties include needs assessment, curriculum development, conducting classes, evaluating training effectiveness, and adapting programs based on feedback to ensure continuous learning within the company.


What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and performance gaps within the workforce
  • Design and develop comprehensive training materials, including presentations, handouts, and assessments, tailored to specific training objectives
  • Lead new hire and developmental training sessions using effective teaching methodologies, including interactive activities
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through post-training assessments, feedback surveys, and observation of employee performance
  • Consistently be an advocate for company culture, policies, and procedures
  • Anticipate and explore training modules that will benefit the organizations long-term goals
  • Utilize available  LMS to manage training materials, track employee progress, and administer assessments
  • Keep up with industry trends, best practices in adult learning, and new training technologies to enhance the effectiveness of training programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Training & Development certification preferred
  • 2 years of experience designing, implementing, and delivering training programs in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong instructional design skills to develop engaging training content
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
  • Facilitation skills to lead group discussions and activities
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position requires verification of employment eligibility in accordance with federal law, and participation in E-Verify.

Schedule: Full-Time/Exempt

Compensation:  $65,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility
