Job Description
Minor Hotels is looking for an Executive Legal Administrator to be based in our Brisbane City Head Office, working alongside our in-house Legal team.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel and Company Secretary, this role offers full exposure to legal operations across our global hospitality and property portfolio.
This position is ideal for a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic corporate setting and enjoys supporting senior leadership across complex, high-level priorities. We are looking for someone who is professional, discreet, and confident in providing executive-level support within a legal and corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
As Executive Legal Administrator, you will act as a trusted partner to the General Counsel while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Legal function. You will also:
- Provide high-level executive support including diary, correspondence, and travel management
- Anticipate priorities, manage information flow, and resolve competing demands
- Coordinate board and executive meetings, prepare agendas and board papers, take minutes, and track actions
- Support corporate governance, manage commercial contracts, ensure compliance, and assist with litigation matters
- Administer and enhance legal systems, including LawVu
- Monitor legal expenditure, manage budgets, and process external legal provider invoices
- Maintain legal registers, governance records, business name registrations, and key contract databases
- Assist with legal research, document preparation, and litigation coordination
- Support compliance initiatives, training sessions, and internal legal education programs
Qualifications
To be successful you will require the following experience:
- Proven experience providing executive-level support, ideally within legal or professional services
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and strong systems capability
- Experience with LawVu or similar legal matter management systems (highly regarded)
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with high attention to detail
