About You and this role
As a Procure to Pay Specialist based in Navi Mumbai You will support the Dow Procurement organization in developing and delivering Procure‑to‑Pay (PtP) end‑to‑end strategies and in enabling the organization to deliver effective and efficient services. You are responsible for performing a range of assignments related to operating discipline, internal controls, policy adherence, and risk assessment.
In this role, you will develop an understanding of key business drivers relevant to your discipline and function and continue to expand both conceptual and working knowledge within your functional area. You are expected to provide informal guidance to new team members and to clearly explain complex information to stakeholders.
You will apply technical experience, established practices, and sound judgment to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance will impact the quality of your own work and your team’s deliverables, and you are expected to work within established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Work independently to accomplish assigned workload and collaborate with other members of the team
- Provide monitoring, analysis, and consultation to ensure (PtP) operations comply with legal and work process requirements across Procurement, APAY, and TER service areas.
- Assess compliance risk, perform operational compliance reviews & controls testing
- Conducts operational audits to identify compliance issues and continuous improvement opportunities
- Perform root cause analyses and business process improvement activities to eliminate the root cause of compliance exceptions
- Act as the regional focal point for internal and external audits in partnership with local tax and legal focal points
- Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance monitoring process standards and procedures
- Engagement with broader Governance, Risk & Compliance team
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree with 5+ Years of relevant experience
- Requires prior working knowledge in procurement to pay activities
- Well Equipped with MS Office Suite
- Know-how of reporting & Analytics will be added advantage
