Balanced Body is hiring!! We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join our team!
Candidates should be able to participate in quality inspections, audits and reporting of non-conforming materials or products. Will be able to use various machines to produce prototype parts for engineering.
To be successful in the position, you will be able to meet deadlines, demonstrate great attention to detail and consistency in following process, and work well individually and in a team environment. The individual we are seeking will be an excellent communicator and be process oriented. You should be comfortable working in a fluid environment where priorities may shift.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to grow in QC/QA and Machining.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Able to learn/operate equipment including but not limited to manual mill, CNC lathe, surface grinder, laser cutter, saws, shears, various hand tools, advanced inspection equipment, etc.
- Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, instructions.
- Uses calipers, micrometers, gages and other measuring instruments for determining dimensional data of components.
- Maintains parts, and supply inventories in the MRP system.
- Ability to perform QA functions.
- Inspect, audit and report on incoming material and parts for extended periods of time.
- Forklift experience is desired.
- Perform other duties as required to meet company needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in Quality Inspection
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a Machine shop
- Forklift certified is a plus
- Knowledge of proper lock-out tag-out procedures
- Proficient in math
- Positive can-do attitude.
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-directed with the ability to keep up with a very fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent time-management and ability to prioritize changing tasks with a sense of urgency necessary to meet objectives and deadlines.
Work Schedule:
This position is onsite and full-time, Monday to Friday.
