They must also cultivate positive relationships with parents and team members, gear the program to individual children's needs, and supervise children during pool visits.

Are you ready for the best Summer ever? We’re looking for energetic, passionate, and engaging Teachers to join our celebrated Summer Camp program. Spend your Summer providing a fun, safe and exciting learning environment for children ages 1-5, while enjoying full-time hours and pay without working nights or weekends! Teachers follow provided lesson plans to implement fascinating arts + crafts, enriching outdoor play, special Friday activities, and visits to our beautiful outdoor pool with a Splash Pad for our littlest swimmers.

Monday-Friday
May 28-July 31
Choice of 7:30am-4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:30pm shift (dependent upon availability)

What You'll Do

Create a safe and positive classroom environment that promotes learning through open-ended activities
Implement the age-appropriate grab and go curriculum to nurture and stimulate all domains of the children’s development
Cultivate and maintain a positive relationship with parents through formal and informal communication on a daily and weekly basis
Foster and develop relationships with other teaching team members, including co-teachers
Gear the program towards the needs of individual children taking into account interests, challenges, talents, and individual learning styles
Accompany children to and from the swimming pool several times a week and provide adequate supervision
Assist with the supervision of afternoon staff or volunteers in the classroom

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with young children
At least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements

Job requires frequent (2-5 hours per shift) standing, walking, carrying and repetitive motions and occasional (up to 2 hours per shift) sitting, lifting up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling, climbing and stooping/crouching.
