ICM Solutions, a leader in crushing, underground mining rebuild, and white paving equipment, service, and solutions across the Mountain West, is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Director of Finance to guide our financial operations and support our continued growth. This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping financial strategy, strengthening financial processes, and partnering closely with senior leadership to drive organizational success. This is an on-site position — you must be available to work in the office Monday through Friday.
About the Role
The Director of Finance serves as a key member of ICM’s leadership team, overseeing all financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, controls, and compliance. This leader will manage and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensure timely and accurate financial statements, and collaborate across departments to support informed decision-making. This role also maintains a dotted-line relationship with the Campbell Companies CFO, aligning ICM’s financial practices with broader corporate objectives.
What You’ll Do:
Lead & Develop the Finance Team
- Manage, mentor, and coach a high-performing accounting team.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and excellence in financial operations.
Own Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee accurate preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Drive Insightful Analysis & Management Reporting
- Deliver timely, actionable financial insights to senior leadership.
- Lead internal reporting for business units, including monthly management reporting packages and key financial metrics.
- Investigate variances and identify opportunities to improve performance.
Lead Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Modeling
- Guide the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles.
- Partner with department leaders to maintain accurate and strategic budget plans.
- Build financial models for scenario planning, long-term initiatives, and resource allocation.
Strengthen Internal Controls & Improve Processes
- Design and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Enhance financial systems, tools, and processes to increase efficiency.
- Partner with IT on system improvements and ERP optimization.
Support Strategic Planning
- Provide financial perspectives to support organizational strategy.
- Participate in the development and execution of long-term business plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred).
- 7–10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus).
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence across functions, and manage organizational change.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
